Working with resin is always an adventure! Trying to “control” & “manipulate” a fluid medium is at best a challenge. I set out to create an image I have in my mind. The resin usually presents itself on my canvas differently then I had imagined, so I allow the resin to dictate my next moves. The trick really is to collaborate with the results of resin’s movement instead of trying to force it to be something specific. Like the ocean, it moves on it’s own, to it’s own rhythm. It can be powerful and flowing, dark and light, fluid & deep and almost always unpredictable.
